I installed a deck railing using the glass balusters with the scenic connectors and it looked beautiful for the first 2 years. After that the connectors, which when new were cedar colored, turned to an ugly grey color. What made it worse was that not all of the connectors turned to the grey color. Some remained the cedar color while the others turned to the grey color. There was no pattern to it, some were directly next to each other and one was grey and the other cedar. It looks awful! I spent a great deal of money on the deck railing, and to have it look like it does makes me feel like I wasted my money.

Robert-
Deckorators line carries composite and aluminum railings. However, Universal Forest Products does carry wood. You can see it at http://ufpi.com/product/wdeck/railingcomp.htm.
