The results are in for the 2010 Latitudes Best Deck Contest, and the winners have been chosen. There were several impressive entries in the Latitudes Best Deck contest, but Gina Leggett’s custom deck, built for some
good-ole entertaining in Indiana, incorporates many great features that one would look for in a low maintenance composite lumber deck, including a raised portable fire pit area, featuring Latitudes deck stones, and built in bench seating around an octagon space. For this, Gina takes home the grand prize.

Judges review
This winning deck features a wide variety of Latitudes composite decking and railing products, skillfully installed. The built-in composite lumber benches make this small space really functional — no furniture required. The Latitudes deck stones have been cut to match the octagon shape of the deck, giving the fire pit a prefect resting place. The use of two complementary colors of composite decking, railing and fascia break up the space and add a unique, personalized look. All this deck needs now are a few Latitudes solar post cap lights. Great job Gina!
